ABOUT GOOD SHEPHERD

As a Lutheran congregation which is a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod we believe, teach and confess that Jesus Christ, who is true God and true man, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead.  Through faith in Jesus Christ we receive the forgiveness of sins and have peace with God.  We confess that in the Divine Service our Lord Jesus Christ comes into our midst in His Means of Grace: the Word, Holy Baptism, Holy Absolution and the Sacrament of the Altar.  Through these means the Holy Spirit works and sustains faith in Jesus Christ so that we can serve as God’s instruments in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others in word and deed.
